Always stored

Two items are kept in your browser's local storage — not cookies, and never sent to us or to anyone else. They exist so the site can behave sensibly on your second visit.

Language preference

Remembers which of the four languages you chose, so you are not sent back to English every time. Stays until you clear your browser storage.

Consent record

Remembers your answer to the cookie question, when you gave it, and which version of these categories it applied to. Without it the banner would ask you on every page.

Only with your consent

These load when you allow the matching category, and not before. Until then no Google script exists on the page at all — the consent banner is not a formality laid over tags that are already running.

Statistics — Google Analytics

Sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> to count visits and see which pages are read. Typically expires after two years. Data is sent to Google.

Advertising — Google Ads

Measures whether our own ads led to a visit, and whether a visit became an enquiry. Sets advertising and conversion identifiers. When you submit the contact form, a hashed version of your email address is sent with the conversion so Google can match it to the click — never the readable address. Data is sent to Google.

Changing your mind

Use the link in the footer of any page to reopen the preferences panel. You can turn any category off again, and it stops immediately — refusing later is as easy as accepting was.

You can also clear everything from your browser's own settings, which removes the stored consent record and makes the site ask again.

Google Consent Mode

Before any Google tag can exist on the page, the site declares every advertising and analytics permission as denied. Your choice then updates that declaration. This means the default state is refusal, not an assumption of agreement.
